What it is
Payments capture money received against invoices, either recorded manually or collected online.
What you can do
- Record a payment (amount, date, method, reference) against an invoice — receivables update instantly.
- Share a Pay link so the client can pay the invoice online by card (when Stripe is connected).
- Recurring invoices generate automatically on their schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Good to know
- Online payments are verified server-side before an invoice is marked paid.
- External payments are idempotent by reference — the same payment won't post twice.
