What it is
The Finance module is the money cockpit — what's owed to you, what you've spent, and how you're tracking to budget.
Tabs
- Overview — cashflow (money in vs out) and headline balances.
- Receivables — outstanding invoices and aging; record customer payments here.
- Payables — vendor bills and what you owe; record bill payments.
- Expenses — company spend, including approved staff expense claims.
- Budget — set budgets per category and compare budget vs actual.
- VAT — a VAT return summary (output tax on sales minus input tax on purchases).
How it connects
- Recording a payment against an invoice updates the invoice and receivables together.
- Approving a staff expense claim automatically posts it as a Finance expense.
- Payroll runs post to expenses so cashflow reflects salaries.
